A minor in Human Services prepares you to understand people, communities, and the systems that support their well-being. Through required coursework in counseling, coordination of care and psychopathology, you will develop practical, entry-level helping skills that can be applied in a variety of professional settings. Flexible electives in crisis intervention, loss, advocacy, cultural competency and more allow you to tailor your studies to your interests and career goals.
This program is completed online and open to students in all majors on all campuses. Graduates with this minor go on to work in a diverse range of roles, including case managers, foster care licensing specialists, court-appointed advocates or behavioral technicians.
