Retailing & Consumer Science
Explore the world of retailing, social commerce, and innovation from a customer-centric perspective. As a Retailing & Consumer Science major, you’ll learn to research, improve and better understand global retailing, consumer products and services and customer experience. Coursework integrates consumer behavior with retailing, business and marketing courses to prepare students for emerging careers.
Undergraduate Major
The Bachelor of Science curriculum is designed to develop professionals who can apply their understanding of consumers and retail business practices in Retail Management and Operations, Merchandising and Buying, Consumer Marketing and Innovation, Digital Retailing and Social Media, and Sustainable Consumption.
Undergraduate Minor
This minor is designed to allow students to focus on retailing and business or on consumer science.
