What is Elevate Evenings? 

Elevate Evenings is our largest CALES weekly wellness program designed to bring students together to forge meaningful connections, share delicious meals, and to elevate the wellness journey of UA Wildcats! It's all about building a student community of wellbeing! 

Wellness Leadership Team 

We're seeking motivated student leaders to lead fellow students in weekly wellness experiences at Elevate Evenings! This includes mindfulness practices, yoga, fitness activities, financial wellness, dance, artistic creations, connecting with nature and more. In addition, Wellness Leaders have the opportunity to represent our college and promote wellness at several key outreach events during the year. This is a unique opportunity to build a stronger, healthier college community and make a real difference in the lives of your fellow students. 

Members of the Wellness Leadership Team will: 

  • Receive training, coaching and mentoring to grow your wellness expertise
  • Learn valuable leadership skills and build your resume
  • Become a stronger you, both personally and professionally
  • Have the option of earning internship credit!

Wellness Leader Commitment 

  • Lead and engage college students in wellness activities at weekly Elevate Evening events
  • Represent the college to promote wellness at key student outreach events
  • For the full academic year, 2025 fall & 2026 spring semesters.
  • Attend 3 Wellness Leader Trainings:
    • ZOOM - Wednesday, August 6th, 5:30pm - 8:00pm
    • In-Person (UA Tucson Main Campus): Wednesday, August 27th, 5:30pm - 8:00pm
    • In-Person (UA Tucson Main Campus): Wednesday, September 3rd, 5:30pm - 6:30pm
    • Make-up trainings can be arranged as needed
  • Attend Elevate Evening wellness events:
    • Fall 2025 semester: Wednesday evenings, 5:30pm - 8:00pm, Sept. 10th - Nov. 19th.
    • Spring 2026 semester: Wednesday evenings, 5:30pm - 8:00pm, Jan. 28 - April 15th.
    • No Elevate Evening events will be held on holidays or during school breaks.
  • Total yearly Wellness Leader time commitment is a minimum of 45 service hours, plus 6 training hours 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • A strong commitment and desire to foster student wellness and belonging
  • A willingness to be an effective communicator in leading groups of fellow students
  • Ability to effectively work with a diverse student population
  • Consistently punctual and able to effectively manage commitments
  • Will be enrolled as a UA student for the fall 2025 and spring 2026 semesters
