The mission of the Zuckerman Family Center for Prevention and Health Promotion (ZFCPHP) is to impact the health and wellbeing of the Tucson community through education, training, research, and outreach. Our center’s programs focus on the health and wellness of elementary, middle, and high school students, as well as adults. Most recently, we have formed a dynamic partnership with the Lapan College and Career Club. While the Zuckerman Center promotes community wellness, the Lapan Club empowers underserved students through scholarships, mentorship, and resources. Together, we aim to support middle and high school students' development by offering after-school psycho-social and wellness education that fosters their overall growth.

The ZFCPHP collaborates with a wide range of campus and community partners including, Sunnyside School District, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Tucson, Boys & Girls Club, Tucson Unified School District, and the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine, to expand access to health and wellness opportunities, particularly for youth.
