Terry J. Lundgren Center for Retailing
The Terry J. Lundgren Center for Retailing connects RCSC student to the retailing, brand and related industries. Programming and initiatives are designed for one, over-arching purpose: expanding on the knowledge and innovation within the broad and diverse retailing and brand industry. For students, our efforts are designed to provide opportunities to apply the learnings gained in the RCSC academic program through close interaction with industry leaders and experiential, hands-on engagements. The center hosts career development activities such as case competitions, study tours, workshops and seminars.

Career-Readiness Courses
The RCSC Program includes two dedicated career success courses that are designed to help you discover your strengths and prepare for internships and careers.
- RCSC 295A Career Exploration (1 unit, required) Personal and professional development for RCSC students. This course prepares students to apply for internships and to enter the workforce by providing tools and resources for internship and career success. Topics include personal branding, professional dress, resumes, cover letters, and success factors in interviews and internships.
- RCSC 495A Career Success (1 unit, recommended) Graduating seniors will engage in five workshops to include: how to negotiate your salary; how to adapt to a professional/corporate environment; several aspects of professionalism including proper communication etiquette, email netiquette, and dining etiquette.
