Resilience and Health of Marginalized Populations

We study the effects of resilience and health on individuals and families to inform on processes that create healthy and happy relationships.

Our researchers focus on the resilience and health of individuals and families from marginalized populations, with emphasis on Latinx families, culture, economic disadvantage, and sexual and gender minority populations. Research projects in this area focus on identifying individual, family, or contextual assets or processes that promote resilience, healthy development and relationships.
