This interdisciplinary program explores digital retailing through consumer behavior, digital marketing, information architecture and systems, merchandise buying and sourcing, management, retail operations, and logistics.
You can tailor your learning by selecting electives focused on social media, omnichannel strategies, digital retailing analytics, supply chain, innovation and entrepreneurship, and customer experience management. Courses incorporate professional technology applications and opportunities to complete relevant certifications.
The Digital Retailing Minor equips you with in-demand skills for careers in e-commerce, digital marketing, social media management, web merchandising, and omnichannel retail operations.

Up to 3 units of RCSC 399/499 Independent Study or RCSC 492 Directed Research may be applied with instructor approval and a digital retailing related topic.
The Digital Retailing Minor requirements must be completed with a minimum 2.0 minor GPA. At least 9 units must be upper-division. A maximum of 9 units can be transferred from other institutions. This minor is not available to Retailing and Consumer Sciences (RCSC) majors. Courses used for the minor cannot overlap with the Digital Retailing Certificate.
