Liz Collins

Hello, I’m Liz! I’m the Academic Advisor for students in the HDFS major, and I’m also the Assistant Director for Academic Advising in the Norton School of Human Ecology. I earned my B.A. from the University of Arizona, where I fell in love with Tucson, the UArizona community, and higher education. I went on to pursue a Master’s degree from the University of Southern California and a Ph.D. in Higher Education from the University of Arizona. I love to learn and I’m so fortunate to learn alongside students every day as an academic advisor. I truly look forward to collaborating with students as they explore their personal interests, strengths, and goals throughout their college experience. Outside of work I like to run, hike, camp, and spend time outdoors. To me there’s nothing better than a simple day filled with sun, good music, good coffee, and being with my animals.
