Anticipated full-time internship, paid in Summer 2023.
Choreo is excited to welcome an intern class during the summer of 2023. During their 8-weeks with Choreo, interns will first participate in a training program that will prepare them to support their local teams. They will learn both the technical systems and organizational management of the Wealth Advisory business. Senior leaders of Choreo will meet with the class to share their responsibilities, experience, and insight. The intern class will also work on a shared project throughout the summer with fellow interns in all participating offices. Throughout the summer, the intern class will learn the day-to-day responsibilities and growth potential for Wealth Advisors at Choreo.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Learn and participate in both Wealth Advisory and Advisory Operations tasks
- Develop proficiencies using eMoney, our financial planning software, to assist in developing financial plans
- Learn and transact in our CRM to manage workflows and documentation requirements.
- Identify risk while ensuring accuracy and following procedures to be compliant with Firm requirements
- Maintain positive client relationships
- Become familiar with custodian relationships, processes, and service teams, and prepare related forms to assist the advisory team in transaction processing
Basic Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree at a college or university
- Enrolled in third year of a four-year program
- Basic understanding of financial planning concepts (all majors are encouraged to apply)
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Comfortable in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Ability to problem-solve with a positive drive to get the job done
